Seven Weathers
Seven algorithms, one climate. Drizzle is falling strokes, Anticyclone is contour lines, Hard Frost is one rule about sixty degrees.

The brief
Create a generative art series with real variety, and let visitors explore it.
The idea
Weather is the oldest generative art: set a gradient, step back, and everything visible is that gradient working itself out. Each piece here starts from a field, not a composition. A philosophy document, Pressure Systems, was written before any code.
Decisions
- Seven different algorithms, because a series should not be one trick with seven palettes.
- Every control has a physical meaning: density, turbulence and ink weight.
- Same seed always gives the same afternoon.
- Close up, each print dissolves into legible individual marks.
How it came together
- Wrote the philosophy before any code.
- Built seven separate systems sharing one seeded engine.
- Reworked Drizzle after the first contact sheet showed it was too pale.
- Printed every piece at 2,400 px from the live page.
How it works
p5.js supplies seeded random and noise, and the drawing uses the raw canvas context for speed. Anticyclone uses marching squares, Squall uses curl noise, and Hard Frost is recursive sixty-degree branching.
