Pencil of Nature is a creative studio. It makes brands, websites, apps, campaigns, type, film and sound, and the writing that holds them together.
One idea can run from a logo to a website to a soundtrack here without losing its thread. Every piece in the collection has its own typography, its own palette and its own voice, because every problem deserves its own answer.
The name is borrowed from Fox Talbot’s 1844 book The Pencil of Nature, whose plates he said had been made by “the agency of Light”. It was a new way of making pictures, and a reminder that good work starts with looking closely.
